Air Pollution Linked to Facial Dark Spots

It may be common sense, but research is now proving that air pollution and traffic pollution contributes to skin aging and to the formation of liver spots. Research at the IUF-Leibniz Center in Germany reveals that increased nitrogen dioxide concentrations in air pollution is now associated with skin-aging and the development of these unsightly liver spots especially in the cheek area.

I live in NYC and have noticed the liver spots on my face has gotten worse. I wonder if it's just sun and aging or if NYC air is making it worse as well. :-(
